Beyond Placement: The Adoptee Reunification Initiative is Meeka Clark's effort to create a trauma-informed support system that empowers adoptees to explore their identity, access reunification resources, and navigate connections with their biological families. Through identity tools, emotional support services, next-of-kin search assistance, reunification coaching, and community partnerships, the initiative centers the lifelong needs of adoptees beyond placement. By fostering healing, restoring connections, and building sustainable pathways for reunification, the project aims to ensure every adoptee has the opportunity to pursue truth, belonging, and lasting emotional well-being with dignity and care.
